The Sunday Post is a major newspaper, based in Scotland but also with sales in other parts of the UK.
An established part of the newspaper are the Broon characters.
The Sunday Post wanted a ‘celebrity’ type promotion based around these characters but at the same time, giving the game a ‘Hollywood’ theme.
IGI-Europrint designed the game to play over a 4 week period and part of the brief was to incorporate an element to enable a variety of different cash prizes to be won each week.
The game had to be number based, easy to play and visually attractive.
Early indications are that there was a very high participation rate and it has a positive effect on circulation.
