Christmas Creativity -

A big part of Christmas at IGI Europrint is supporting local schools and charities. Each year we get the opportunity to work with Blackburn Community and Business Partners, who provide much needed support to businesses across East Lancashire through projects like Guardian Angels, SAMS (Scrap Art Material Store), Charities @ SAMS, and Energy Zone. This year a range of Christmas card designs were submitted by the participants of the THOMAS (those on the margins of society) program. THOMAS delivers a range of holistic recovery focused services, which take people from within prison or hospital, through detox and residential rehabilitation into community based provision. IGI Europrint’s task was simple, select the best designs and sponsor the printing and manufacturing of the cards. However, the selection process turned out not to be so easy. We were so impressed with the creativity, humour and effort shown, that we couldn’t just print one or two designs. We selected 3 designs for the main Christmas cards but, in addition, we decided to print all of the designs submitted, so that each participant had cards with their design to send to their family and friends.
